Dryadel - In the Realm of Fading Stars (2023)

Every road ends, but while the steps of the weary traveler can still be heard, this world generously rewards them with new meanings. Among the impassable swamps, dark caves and misty mountains, among old ruins and ramshackle wooden houses, invisible paths lead to a world that has long been forgotten in distant childhood memories.
Every night, falling asleep by the fire, he contemplates the night sky, a myriad of forgotten constellations on the patterned canvas of the autumn night. He listens to the singing of night birds and the whisper of the fading predawn moon.
This journey will last forever, for even Death himself does not know all the secret paths. The seasons change, cities crumble and rivers run shallow, but the traveler walks weary looking at the fragments of his past lives. In the realm of fading stars, where there has never been light, but only glow in the embrace of eternal darkness.

A new album of my project in which I have tried to convey the atmosphere of a kind of wandering. A wandering in dreams and in reality. Some of the tracks are inspired by my own memories and some are fantasies or allusions to events.
It's quite a light and melancholic album, with a strong natural ambient influence. There's more contemplation in this work than any mysticism, which is characteristic of my work.
